Conceived in 2007 by David Ghazawy, Matildawood is the marketing and publishing arm of a multi-disciplinary group of businesses that specialise in the creative and technical industries. The group is known as the GA Ocelot Group.

The GA Ocelot Group (GAOG) is an Australian developer, marketer, publisher and distributor of Art and Entertainment Content. The Group was established in 2006 by David Ghazawy to galvanize his vision of a multi-faceted entertainment company; subsequently bringing into the fold subsidiaries Ghazawy Arts (GA), CairoGiza Pictures (CGP), Arabia Exotica (AE), Arabia Erotica (AE), Matildawood, ArtHouse Manor (AHM), Fat Turtle Game Studio (FTGS), Nasser 1956, 6th Legion, Methuselah 5 (M5), Bitman Bandit (BB), 7am Sydney and Sqwizy.
